Alex Nguyen Quartet

Trumpeter Alex Nguyen has been recognized as one of America's most promising young jazz artists.  Just 22 years old, Alex performs with his quartet and appears with formidable voices on the jazz scene.

Vocalist Gwen Hughes

A veteran of the Southeast music scene, Gwen Hughes is one of the busiest bandleaders in Atlanta, along the way being name “Favorite Jazz Artist” by the readers of Creative Loafing magazine and taking her act overseas to France, Eastern Europe and Turkey.

Vocalist Lynn Roberts

Now a Lowcountry local, Lynn Roberts has toured the globe with such greats as the Dorsey brothers, Benny Goodman, Harry James and Sammy Kay.  Still going strong after several decades Lynn continues to dazzle audiences with hits from “The Big Band Era.”

The Stardust Orchestra

A perennial favorite with JLLC members, this big band, under the direction of Ray Cummings takes the audience back to the day when “swing was king”.

Bob Masteller and Friends

Rhythmic and pulsating, this jazz is for all ages, young and old, offering preswing, swing and straight ahead jazz standards.

Mike Levine

Pianist Mike Levine is a man of many talents whose career is a blend of different aspects of music.  His keyboard artistry is unsurpassed and in constant demand by the likes of Michale Bolton, Geraldo Flores, Les DeMerle and Raul Di Blasio.

USC Jazz Faculty Quartet

Led by pianist Bert Ligon, director of jazz studies at the University of South Carolina, this group is comprised of musicians who each have a long list of credits to their name as performers, composers, arrangers and educators.
